Police investigate thefts and disturbances in Reykjavik area
The police in the Greater Reykjavik area are investigating a series of thefts and attempted break-ins targeting several storage containers in the western part of the city. Reports have also emerged of attempts to enter vehicles in downtown Reykjavik, leading to notable disturbances and fights in the area.

In Garðabær, a man was arrested for causing a disturbance on a bus while also refusing to provide identification to the police. The authorities are also looking into reports of property damage and assaults against a bus driver in Breiðholt.
