Saturday stays mostly dry as rain reaches Finland on Sunday
Most of Finland will have dry and locally sunny weather on Saturday, Yle meteorologist Matti Huutonen said. Showers may develop in the south, southwest and along the eastern border during the afternoon and evening.
Daytime temperatures will rise to around 17 degrees Celsius in the south, while temperatures in northeastern Finland will remain close to 10 degrees.
On Sunday, a weather front will move east across Finland. Scattered rain will reach from the southern coast to Lapland during the day, and skies will be largely cloudy across the country. Temperatures will range from about 10 degrees in the north to 15 degrees in the south.
The new week will begin with dry weather again, and Monday will be sunny in much of Finland.
