Lyfja opens new pharmacy in Hafnarfjörður

Lyfja has opened a new pharmacy on Norðurhella in Hafnarfjörður, mbl.is reports. The pharmacy is intended to serve residents of Vellir, Skarðshlíð and Ásland.

Lyfja said demand for pharmacy services has increased alongside extensive residential development and population growth in this part of Hafnarfjörður in recent years.

The pharmacy is next to Krónan on Norðurhella and offers prescription dispensing and advice from pharmacists.

“We look forward to further strengthening services for residents of Hafnarfjörður by opening a new pharmacy on Norðurhella,” Karen Ósk Gylfadóttir, Lyfja’s managing director, said in a press release. “Pharmacies play an important role in the local community, and now as before, we emphasise personal service and professional advice for our customers.”
