Viborg Cathedral marks 150 years with quiz on Danish cathedrals

Viborg Cathedral is celebrating its 150th anniversary this week, DR reports, with a new carillon, a hymn written by Sigurd Barrett and a flyover by the Danish Air Force among the events planned.

The cathedral was inaugurated exactly 150 years ago in a ceremony attended by the royal family.

The anniversary also offers an opportunity to test your knowledge of Viborg Cathedral and Denmark’s other cathedrals.

Artist Joakim Skovgaard created the fresco paintings in Viborg Cathedral between 1901 and 1906.
