Police special unit called to home in Akureyri

Police in Akureyri requested assistance from the National Police Commissioner’s special unit during an operation at a home on Engimýri shortly after 1pm on Friday, mbl.is reported.

A police duty officer confirmed the call-out to mbl.is.

Police declined to provide further information, but said other residents had not been at risk. The matter is under investigation.
