Man fled after entering home and trying to reach bathroom

Police in Iceland are searching for a man who entered an apartment uninvited and tried to get into the bathroom while the resident was inside, mbl.is reported, citing the police log.

The man was unable to enter because the door was locked and fled. Police were unable to find him despite a search.

The police log also reported a break-in at a company in Reykjavík, which remains under investigation. A fire was reported in a container at a recycling station. An employee believed the fire caused little or no damage, while the cause remains unclear.

Police also received a report of a traffic accident in which one car was driven into the side of another. Airbags deployed in one of the vehicles, and the drivers planned to seek medical attention themselves.
