Rain will ease in western Iceland later today

Rain will ease in western Iceland later on Thursday, mbl.is reports. Northeasterly and easterly winds of 5 to 13 metres per second are expected, increasing to 13 to 18 metres per second in the south until after midday.

Rain will fall intermittently across the country, while temperatures will range from 6 to 13°C. The warmest conditions will be in southwestern Iceland.

On Friday, winds will be variable at 3 to 10 metres per second, with occasional light showers. Rain or drizzle is expected in the northeast and along the south coast. Temperatures will range from 7 to 14°C, with the mildest conditions in the southeast.
