Unsettled weather to bring autumn feel by weekend

Yle reports that Finland will see increasingly unsettled weather in the coming days, with autumn-like conditions expected by the weekend.

Rain and thunderstorms will occur in various parts of the country on Thursday. Rain is expected in the west and in a zone stretching from the southeast to North Ostrobothnia, although the sun will shine in many parts of southern and central Finland.

Temperatures on Thursday will range from about 20 degrees Celsius in the south to 10 degrees in the north.

On Friday, a low-pressure system will bring rain particularly to southern and central Lapland. Temperatures will fall by a couple of degrees from Thursday’s levels.
