Cerebras to buy 165 MW of data centre capacity in Mikkeli

US giant chipmaker Cerebras plans to buy 165 megawatts of data centre capacity in Visulahti, Mikkeli, Yle reports.
British company Compute Nordic plans to build a data centre with a total capacity of 212 megawatts in Mikkeli. Cerebras says it will purchase most of that capacity.
Compute Nordic is currently building the first 50-megawatt data centre in Visulahti. Its first 10-megawatt section is scheduled to become operational this autumn.
