Swedish woman found dead in Turkish hotel room

A Swedish woman has been found dead in a hotel room in Turkey, SVT News reports. Local media say police are investigating the circumstances of her death.

Hotel staff alerted authorities on Thursday evening after they were unable to contact the woman. Medical personnel and police were called to the hotel, and Turkish police later opened an investigation.

The cause of death is not yet known. Turkish media report that a forensic examination will be carried out.
