Deadline approaches for appeals on SEV’s environmental impact assessment for Klivaløkshaga wind farm
The deadline for appealing the environmental impact assessment approved by SEV is this coming Friday.
The wind farm in Klivaløkshaga is part of an expansion plan that SEV, the Municipal Association, and the government announced in April.
However, it remains uncertain who can appeal SEV’s environmental assessment approval for Klivaløkshaga. The Ministry of Environment will decide which appeals to consider once they are submitted.
Ingalín Didriksen Strøm, the Minister of Environment, pointed out more than a week ago that individuals have the right to appeal the approved environmental assessment by SEV.
As mentioned, the deadline for appeals is this Friday, and they must be submitted to the Minister of Environment.
Only those who are directly and personally affected by the decision have the right to appeal. According to Hilmar Høgenni, head of division at the Ministry of Environment, it will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis who these individuals might be.
