Appeal court sends Eagle S case back to district court

The Eagle S case over severed undersea cables in the Gulf of Finland will return to court, Yle reports.

The Helsinki Court of Appeal ruled on Thursday that the Helsinki District Court’s judgment should be overturned and returned the case to the district court.

The district court had previously declined to examine the charges related to the cable damage caused by the Eagle S.
