SVT invites questions ahead of election economic debate

SVT is inviting questions about the economy and politics ahead of Sunday evening’s economic policy debate on its Agenda programme, which will feature representatives from all eight parties in Sweden’s parliament.

The debate is the first in a series ahead of the 2026 election. Party spokespersons or ministers from all eight parliamentary parties will take part, while a panel will comment on the discussion, moderated by Tomas Nordenskiöld.

From 4pm, viewers can chat with SVT economic commentator Alexander Norén and domestic politics commentator Elisabeth Marmorstein.

Further debates ahead of the election will focus on climate on August 30 and migration on September 6.
