Rebl Group opens negotiations that could cut 50 jobs

Media group Rebl Group is opening change negotiations that could lead to the dismissal of up to 50 employees, Yle reports. The negotiations cover 530 employees across the group’s companies, with only Exove staff excluded.

The group is seeking annual savings of €2.1 million. In addition to redundancies, the negotiations could result in temporary layoffs and changes to employment contract terms.

Rebl Group said in a statement that it aims to improve the profitability and competitiveness of all its businesses as the media market weakens.

The group has offices in 12 locations in Finland and is headquartered in Joensuu. Its revenue was €108 million last year.
