Weather is expected to remain mostly calm across Iceland this weekend, with light variable winds or sea breezes, mbl.is reports, citing a forecaster at the Icelandic Meteorological Office.
Much of the country will be dry with sunny spells. Southern Iceland will be mostly cloudy, with some showers, particularly in the afternoon.
Patches of fog may also develop along the northern and eastern coasts. Temperatures will generally range from 10 to 17 degrees Celsius, with the highest temperatures in western Iceland.
On Monday, easterly breezes or moderate winds are forecast, with stronger winds near the south coast. Some precipitation is expected at times in southern Iceland, while the north should remain dry and bright, with temperatures reaching 18 to 19 degrees in the warmest conditions.
