Kringvarp Føroya reports that the police will devote more resources to monitoring online activity, including to help prevent young people from getting into trouble.
A permanent police officer will be assigned to keep a close watch on what is happening online.
The police will be clearly identifiable on social media so that no one contacts them there by accident, according to Hallgrím Hansen, head of the police prevention unit. He was interviewed in the radio news.
