Kymenlaakso wellbeing services county prepares staff-wide negotiations

Yle reports that the Kymenlaakso wellbeing services county in Finland is preparing extensive co-operation negotiations covering its entire workforce.

The county executive board authorised the county’s management to begin the negotiations at a meeting on Tuesday.

The start date, timetable and content of the negotiations will be announced later.

The board also decided that filling vacant positions and making new hires will require centralised consideration and approval from the county executive. Only essential recruitment will be allowed.
