Women offered standing urinal at Danish festival

This year’s Grim Festival is offering women a stationary urinal where they can stand to urinate, DR reports.

The facility, nicknamed “Tis Mahal”, is intended to reduce waiting times for women’s toilets and provide more equal access to toilet facilities.

The project was developed by Grim Højskolen. DR says no other festival in Denmark currently offers a facility of this kind.
