A group from the Nordic Morris Minor Club is currently touring the Faroe Islands in their vintage Morris Minor cars, according to a report by Faroese broadcaster KVF.

The club, dedicated to the classic British model produced between 1948 and 1972, was spotted in the village of Dalur on Friday. The drivers chose to take the old mountain road rather than the newer tunnel.

Thomas Skipper, a club member, told KVF he is half-Faroese and remembers his grandfather owning a Morris Minor in the islands. The group enjoys driving the old cars on the Faroes’ narrow roads.

Jes Cramer-Petersen, another participant, said his Morris Minor was the first car he bought. He last visited the Faroes six years ago with his family. This time, his son joined the trip in his own Morris Minor.
