Accident at Bø Sommarland water park

Police in Midt-Telemark, Norway, reported an incident at Bø Sommarland water park on Thursday afternoon.

The individual involved is conscious, according to police, and the air ambulance originally dispatched has been stood down. “The patient is awake. Ambulance is on site,” operations leader Ottar Steinstø wrote in an update.

Jaran Olsen, director of Bø Sommarland, told Dagbladet the situation is under control. “I won’t comment on the details of what happened. It’s under control, and an ambulance is on site,” he said.
