Faroese car tax revenue rises by 233.3 million krona

Faroese public coffers received 233.3 million krona more in car tax during the first half of 2026 than in the same period last year, according to figures from the tax authority Taks.
By 1 July this year, the total reached just over 3 billion krona, compared with 2.78 billion krona in the first half of 2025.
