Oulu police review 150 tips in latest cyclist stabbing

Oulu police have examined over 150 tips in the investigation of a June 26 stabbing in the Kaukovainio district, Yle reports.
A man on a bicycle stabbed a foreign-born man in the back that evening. Police have released new video and images of the suspect, taken in the Knuutilankangas neighborhood.
According to Detective Chief Inspector Petri Savela, the suspect was riding a so-called “grandma bike” and favoring his left leg. At the time of the attack, he wore a collared shirt and a cap resembling a Finnish army field hat. His estimated age is 20–35.
Savela said all information could be significant, and while investigators have gathered substantial material, no arrest has yet been made.
Oulu has seen multiple similar stabbings this year, with the perpetrator targeting foreign-born individuals from a bicycle. Authorities have indicated possible racist motives in the cases.
