Wetteri car dealership begins redundancy talks

Autokauppa Wetteri has announced it will begin redundancy negotiations covering its entire workforce, including staff at its subsidiary Lahden Rekkapaja, Yle reports.

The company estimates a need to reduce staffing by approximately 95 full-time positions. Additionally, it is considering role changes for 47 employees on redundancy grounds and temporary layoffs of up to 90 days for 20 staff members.

Negotiations will start on July 13 and are expected to conclude no earlier than August 3. The Wetteri Group currently employs around 760 people.
