The government is moving forward with plans to update immigration and integration laws, with broad support in parliament for stricter requirements for foreigners who bring their families when coming to work in the country.
Bárður á Steig Nielsen, the leader of the Union Party, expressed this viewpoint during a discussion of the Prime Minister’s address.
Similarly, Beinir Johannesen, the leader of the People’s Party, also agrees on tightening the requirements for those arriving in the country for employment.
As the discourse continues, a significant consensus is forming among political leaders regarding the need for enhanced regulations on immigration to ensure better integration and compliance with the country’s standards.
