Total eclipse clearly visible from Látrabjarg

The total solar eclipse over Iceland was clearly visible from Látrabjarg on Wednesday evening, mbl.is reported. The skies were mostly clear when the eclipse reached its darkest point, according to the news site’s correspondent.

Clouds soon began to gather again, and people gradually started leaving. Several hundred people had travelled to Látrabjarg to watch the spectacle.

Weather conditions at Látrabjarg were described as very good, and visitors enjoyed the clear weather.
