The Finnish Police Board has issued a warning about a defective batch of Magtech 9mm Luger ammunition, stating that bullets may become lodged in the barrel, risking firearm damage and injury to the shooter if another round is fired.

The affected batch, identified by lot number CE0120 / L8609, has prompted a Europe-wide safety notice from the German importer, Frankonia Handels GmbH & Co. KG.

While the batch has not been officially imported into Finland, authorities caution that consumers may have purchased it abroad. The Police Board advises against using any ammunition from this lot.
