Wednesday will be the coolest day of the week across Finland, according to Henriikka Heikinoja, a meteorologist at Yle.

The week begins with rain in the north and clear skies in southern and central Finland. Tuesday will bring more cloud cover than Monday, with cooler air moving in from the west. Temperatures in the south are expected to stay above 20°C, while the rest of the country will remain below that mark.

By the end of the week, warmer air will return to Finland. Heikinoja noted that current weather conditions are typical for June.

A wildfire warning is in effect for Central and South Ostrobothnia on Monday and will expand to Southwest Finland and Pirkanmaa on Tuesday.
