Train services on the Rantaradan U trains will resume normal operations tomorrow, Thursday, August 1, according to a statement from Fintraffic’s Railway Traffic Centre.

The service disruption on the Rantarata line, which stretches west from Leppävaara, lasted five weeks and ended on Monday, July 29. However, train operations this week have been limited due to ongoing finalization work at construction sites.

Starting Monday morning, the long-distance and Y trains have been operating at regular intervals, while the L and U trains have been running only one train pair per hour. Additionally, the E trains have been canceled all week.
