Midsommar weather warnings issued as heat and thunderstorms expected

Sweden’s national weather agency SMHI has issued a thunderstorm warning for parts of the country on Midsummer Day, as high temperatures are forecast for the holiday weekend, Swedish public broadcaster SVT reports.

SVT meteorologist Tora Tomasdottir will answer viewer questions about the weather during the holiday in a live chat at 12:00 today.
