Sweden’s Riksbank left its policy rate unchanged at 1.75 percent on Wednesday, but said the likelihood of a hike later this year has risen since its March assessment.
The decision matched market expectations ahead of the announcement. In a statement, the bank said its board judged that keeping the rate at 1.75 percent was “well-balanced,” while noting the increased probability of a future increase.
