Finnish plumbing manufacturer Oras Group will eliminate 37 positions at its Rauma plant as it relocates brass machining operations to its factory in Poland, the company announced Wednesday.

The decision follows completed employee consultations in May, according to a company statement. Oras Group said the restructuring aims to strengthen competitiveness amid challenging market conditions.

Some new roles will be created, with priority given to employees facing redundancy. The changes were first reported by regional newspaper Satakunnan Kansa.
