Children stage mock revolution with foam weapons in Copenhagen park

Over 200 children armed with foam swords, spears, and axes gathered Saturday in Amager Fælled park for the final live-action roleplay event of the spring season, Danish broadcaster DR reports.

The event, held in a public green space in Copenhagen, saw participants engage in mock battles and staged uprisings as part of an organised fantasy-themed game. Organisers confirmed the turnout marked one of the largest gatherings of the season.

Foam weaponry, designed for safe physical combat, is standard in live-action roleplay events, where participants act out fictional scenarios in real-world settings.
