Pihlajalinna to cut around 220 jobs following restructuring talks
The Finnish healthcare service provider Pihlajalinna has concluded restructuring negotiations, resulting in the planned elimination of approximately 220 positions, the company announced in a statement.
Out of Pihlajalinna’s 4,500 employees, around 2,100 were included in the talks, which began in April and focused on parts of the company’s health services. While some new roles will be created, the final numbers will be confirmed through individual discussions with staff.
When the negotiations were launched, Pihlajalinna had warned that up to 270 employees could face redundancy.
