A major fire engulfed a row house in Bærum early Saturday, with flames spreading to two neighbouring units, Dagbladet reports.

Operational commander Øyvind Hammervold confirmed the blaze was fully developed in the initial unit and had extended to adjacent homes. “We currently have good control over the residents, and there is no search underway for missing persons,” he told the newspaper.

Authorities have reported no serious injuries, though some individuals are being evaluated for possible smoke inhalation. Seven fire trucks remain on scene as crews work to contain the damage, according to Oslo Fire and Rescue’s duty commander Tim Angell.

Residents in the area have been advised to keep windows and doors closed due to heavy smoke. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
