Icelandic viewership of UEFA European Championship reaches 71%

In June and July, 71% of the Icelandic population engaged with the UEFA European Championship, according to a recent survey. The survey revealed that 13% of respondents watched all the matches, while 24% followed many, 29% watched a few, and 6% caught at least one game. However, 29% of participants reported not watching any matches.
The viewership showed a notable gender disparity, with 63% of women tuning in to the tournament compared to 78% of men. Additionally, the age group least likely to follow the championship was those aged 25 to 34, where only 62% reported following the tournament to some extent.
