Finland’s housing market sees sharp decline in March transactions
The number of home sales in Finland fell by nearly 14 percent in March compared to the same period last year, according to the Central Federation of Finnish Real Estate Agencies (KVKL).
Sales of existing homes dropped by almost 13 percent year-on-year, while transactions for new builds plummeted by over 50 percent, the federation reported.
Housing prices continued to decline in the Helsinki metropolitan area, though signs of stabilisation have emerged in other parts of the country, KVKL noted in its statement.
