Banned Loyal to Familia gang linked to three violent conflicts across Denmark
The outlawed Loyal to Familia (LTF) gang is currently involved in multiple violent disputes in Jylland, Fyn, and the Copenhagen area, according to an analysis by Danish broadcaster DR.
A 15-year-old Swedish national has been charged with attempted murder and illegal firearms possession after firing at least nine shots at Royal Ink, a tattoo shop on Aalborg’s pedestrian street. No injuries were reported, but the attack targeted a high-ranking member of the rival Comanches gang, whose motorcycle and vest were parked outside, DR’s legal analyst Louise Dalsgaard confirmed.
Police records show LTF is engaged in three active conflicts: one against Comanches in Jylland, another against the Korsløkkegruppen in Odense, and a third in the Copenhagen region. The disputes have already led to two arson attacks, including one that severely damaged a house in Dronninglund, North Jylland.
Authorities warn of potential retaliatory violence. “When gang conflicts spill into public spaces—like daytime shootings in busy areas—it becomes extremely dangerous,” Dalsgaard said. Police have responded with measures including a 14-day ban on Comanches members entering their Aalborg clubhouse and increased street patrols.
The arrested Swedish teen is part of a broader trend of young recruits from Sweden being hired by Danish gangs for criminal activities, according to investigators.
