Two minors were hospitalised with serious injuries following a brawl at a cabin in Levanger, Trøndelag, on Thursday afternoon, Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet reports.

The incident occurred during an unofficial Easter gathering attended by a large group of teenagers. “It wasn’t an official event, but many young people had come together for Easter celebrations and after-ski activities,” Christopher James White, operations manager at Trøndelag Police District, told Dagbladet on Thursday evening.

Police initially urged parents to monitor their children attending Easter events. Authorities later confirmed two individuals had sustained serious injuries—one with head trauma and signs of strangulation, the other with a possible broken nose and facial injuries. Both left the scene before police arrived and sought hospital treatment independently.

The victims, described as teenagers, were interviewed by police, who have identified several other suspects in the same age group. “We’ve received multiple names that local police will follow up on,” White said, adding that investigators have not yet determined who was responsible for the injuries.

The incident comes amid heightened police presence at Easter celebrations across Norway, with reports of disorderly conduct at other after-ski venues, including ten ejections at a Geilo establishment for altercations, drug use, and aggressive behaviour.
