Bakkafrost proposes 205 million krona dividend payout for 2025
The board of Faroese salmon farming company Bakkafrost has proposed a 205 million krona dividend for 2025, equivalent to 3.45 krona per share, according to a report by Faroese broadcaster Kringvarp Føroya.
The proposal will be presented at the company’s annual general meeting on 30 April. Bakkafrost currently has 59,420,290 shares outstanding.
The board’s nomination committee has recommended re-electing all current members and appointing Henrik Heiberg, a Norwegian national who previously served as CFO of salmon producer Mowi from 2006 to 2015. Current chairman Rúni M. Hansen, who has held the position for 16 years, is also proposed for re-election.
Board members are set to receive 276,300 krona annually, with the chairman’s fee doubling to 552,600 krona.
