Wage negotiations begin in Faroese private sector
Collective bargaining talks for the Faroese private sector have commenced, with the next round of negotiations scheduled for 8 April, Kringvarp Føroya reports.
The Faroese Employers’ Association and five labour unions are participating in the negotiations. Last year’s wage demands resulted in strikes.
The current agreements between the Employers’ Association and the unions expire on 1 May. The association holds over 40 collective agreements with 20 different unions.
