Police arrest individuals for drug possession and theft in Reykjavik

The police in the capital region had a busy night dealing with various incidents. One individual was placed in custody following a brawl in Reykjavik and is now under investigation for drug possession and threats.

Additionally, four others were arrested for drug possession, with two of them also facing inquiries for robbery and assault.

The police received reports of break-ins at storage units in an apartment building in Reykjavik, as well as theft in a grocery store. Officers also intervened with a man who was unable to pay for taxi services.

Several drivers were pulled over for traffic violations and had their driving licenses revoked, with one found to be under the influence of drugs.
