The 30-year-old Faroese art installation Bládýpi by Tróndur Patursson will undergo restoration for the third time, the Faroese Art Museum announced on Wednesday, according to public broadcaster Kringvarp Føroya.
Known locally as Bingjan (The Bin), the sculpture was gifted to the museum in 1997 and has been restored twice before. The work is part of broader renovation plans at the museum, which will include both exterior and interior upgrades.
