On December 9, a man suspected of involvement in a murder case was apprehended by police in Suvela. The authorities had released the suspect’s name and photograph the previous week. Tips from the public significantly contributed to this arrest, according to a statement from a crime inspector in Helsinki.

Prior to this arrest, several individuals had already been detained in connection with the murder, with one of them still in custody. Additionally, another man was also taken into custody on the same day for his alleged role in the incident.

At this time, police are withholding information regarding the total number of suspects linked to the homicide. They have mentioned that one person who was arrested and later released is suspected of attempting to protect the perpetrator. The crime occurred in the early hours of December 5 in the Kirstinmäki area of Espoo.
