The iconic song “Wind of Change” by Scorpions has left a lasting impression on many Finns. Next summer, fans will have an opportunity to experience it live as the band, celebrating its 60th anniversary, embarks on a special tour in Finland. The legendary group from West Germany will perform at the Tampere Arena on Monday, June 9. Tickets will go on sale this Friday. Scorpions are widely recognized for their hits like “Rock You Like a Hurricane,” “No One Like You,” “Wind of Change,” and “Still Loving You.” They last held a concert in Finland in 2017 in Helsinki and performed at the Hyvinkää Rockfest in 2022.

This announcement adds another exciting name to Tampere’s concert calendar for the summer. It has also been confirmed that the legendary band Guns N’ Roses will be performing in Finland. Led by Axl Rose, they are set to take the stage at Tampere’s Ratina Stadium on Monday, July 7.

Additionally, a new major festival, Radio Nova Festival, will take place in Tampere, featuring artists such as Jason Derulo and Alvaro Soler. Earlier news revealed that the Swedish metal band Ghost will perform at the Tampere Arena on May 20, known for their theatrical performances.

Toto, famous for hits like “Hold the Line,” “Rosanna,” and “Africa,” will also take the stage at the Tampere Arena in March. Sir Rod Stewart, who has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twice, will perform on April 25—his first concert in Finland since 1998. In May, Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant will bring his band Saving Grace to Tampere. The American group Blue Öyster Cult is also set to perform in the city, along with British band The Animals, who are on their farewell tour. Last summer, Tampere experienced a quieter concert scene compared to Helsinki, which hosted numerous large-scale events.
