Icelandair flight returns to Keflavik after discovering crack in window
A flight operated by Icelandair, which was en route to Zurich, Switzerland, had to turn back shortly after takeoff this morning due to a discovered crack in one of the windows. An airline representative confirmed the incident, stating that the aircraft safely returned to Keflavik International Airport at 8:30 AM, approximately an hour after departure.
There was no indication of an emergency protocol being activated during the situation. The airline has announced plans to replace the damaged window, and travelers will be transported to their destination on a different aircraft.
