The weather continues to exhibit cold temperatures across the region, with the characteristic blue hues prevailing in the temperature readings. Residents are advised to dress warmly due to ongoing chilly conditions.

To the south, a vast deepening low-pressure area is moving north-northeast, resulting in northeastern winds across the country. Wind speeds vary, being quite strong in the south while generally lighter in the north. Scattered snow showers are expected in the North and East, whereas other regions may enjoy clearer weather. As the low-pressure system gradually moves away this evening, wind speeds are expected to decrease.

The lunchtime weather forecast indicates that tomorrow will bring a trough associated with the low-pressure system from the east. This will result in increased winds in the eastern part of the country, accompanied by light snow showers. Meanwhile, the rest of the country will experience a moderate breeze and broken clouds.

By Monday, conditions are predicted to ease with clearer skies becoming more prevalent, although the cold weather will persist.
