Volcanic eruption prompts evacuation of Grindavik in Iceland
A volcanic eruption has occurred in Iceland, leading to the evacuation of Grindavik. The eruption started around 11 PM on Wednesday, situated between the mountains Stóra-Skógfell and Sýlingarfell on the Reykjanes Peninsula. Meteorologist Benedikt Ófeigsson noted that this eruption seems to be smaller than the one that took place in August.
