Traffic congestion causes temporary Vágatun tunnel closure in Sandavágur, islands of Vágar

Traffic congestion occurred on both sides of Hálsin in Sandavágur and near Fútaklett, leading to a temporary closure of the Vágatun tunnel for westbound traffic. However, road conditions have since improved, allowing vehicles to pass freely through Hálsin again. Additionally, the Vágatun tunnel has been reopened for traffic in both directions.
