Magasin reports employee data exposed in security breach

Confidential information belonging to current and former employees was compromised after unauthorised people accessed Magasin’s IT systems on 18 October, the retailer said in a press release, according to DR.

Magasin has informed those affected and offered them advice and guidance. The company has not said how many employees were involved.

There is no indication that customer data was leaked. Magasin is continuing to investigate how the unauthorised access occurred.
