Lúpína, known as Nína Solveig Andersen, began her solo career in the autumn of 2022. She combines experimental electronic music with Scandinavian pop and honed her craft at the Limpi Music School in Lillehammer, Norway. Her debut album, “Ringluð,” was released in early 2023, and this fall, she unveiled her second album, “Marglytta.”

Lúpína’s music features a fusion of Icelandic lyrics and diverse soundscapes, pushing the boundaries of pop influenced by various genres. She has gained significant attention, particularly on TikTok, and has received nominations for several awards, including the Kraums Awards and the Reykjavík Grapevine Music Award. This past weekend, she was also honored with the Plus Award at Iceland Airwaves.

Recently, Lúpína visited the studio of Atli Más Steinarsson, where she shared insights about her career and her latest album, “Marglytta,” in a segment on Rás 2.
